Gaurav leads Healthcare at Formlabs, a market-leading 3D printing company that enables clinicians and medical device engineers to create patient-specific preoperative planning models, orthoses, and surgical devices. Previously, Gaurav founded and ran One Degree Solar, a venture-backed supplier of renewable energy and mobile technology solutions created specifically for rural clinics without access to electricity. One Degree reached over 200,000 individuals and secured strategic investors, clients, and partnerships including Schneider Electric, Coca-Cola, and the United Nations.
Prior to these ventures, Gaurav spent years in post-conflict Liberia as Special Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Health, a position sponsored by the Clinton Health Access Initiative. He also consulted with the US Government, advising national energy agencies, developing technology programs to enhance healthcare in low-income countries, and publishing global guidance documents for the USAID Powering Health Initiative. He has degrees in International Development and Technology Transfer from Tulane University and the School for International Training.
